Paul McBride
Founder & CEO
Founder of Acquipeak Group, Paul is an entrepreneur, investor and corporate deal maker. A high performance professional, he is also a 5 x World Champion athlete, representing Great Britain on Team GB in Karate and Kickboxing. Paul is also a qualified Clinical Psychotherapist and has operated as The Principle Psychotherapist in his Rodney Street Psychotherapy Clinics and he still mentors and works with a select small group of clients. He was the CEO of two leading marketing companies, carrying out extensive successful marketing campaigns in multiple industries. With a natural outside of the box strategic ability to get things done, he now focuses on buying and growing businesses.
Nigel Simkins
Chief Operating Officer
COO, Nigel Simkins has nearly 40 years business experience; 10 years in Banking and 30 years in Business Finance including Factoring and Invoice Discounting. Nigel has an excellent understanding of most business needs particularly relating to credit management, relationship management, funding requirements and placing/sourcing funding providers.
Ian Nelson
Chairman
Chairman, Ian Nelson is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced M&A professional with over 40 yrs experience working in the worlds Big 4 firms. His career roles have included; Director of M&A for Ernst & Young, Insolvency Manager Price Waterhouse, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions Aviva/CGU/Commercial Union, Director of M&A Aviva plc, and Head of Corporate development at Cardiff Pinnacle. He has completed more than 70 acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in various sectors including the insurance and financial services industry, UK and worldwide.
Greg Burden
Head of Deal Analysis
Head of Deal Analysis, Greg Burden is a highly experienced M&A Accountant with expertise in Financial Analysis & Planning, Business Valuation, and Commercial Loans Underwriting. He has completed many acquisitions in both the UK and North America. He is a serial entrepreneur and he has owned and operated several successful companies in the financial services, real estate and retail sectors.
